Team Jeep Biography

Team Jeep South Africa is a Multi Discipline Athlete squad made up of some of the countries top elite athletes mixed with some of the past champions who are both passionate about the brand and their sport.

The squad is split into Multisport, Paddling, Mountain Biking, Extreme Sportsman and of course the Brand Ambassadors.

Our Multisporters are well known in the sporting discipline. Multisport is a very fast growing sport as it is accessible to so many and forms a really good family atmosphere which is what we are encouraging. Dan Hugo, Our top Multisporter is the Triple Challenge, Totalsports Challenge and Xterra Champ.

The Paddling squad has their own fair share of talent with the likes of Barry Lewin heading them up. Barry is ranked 4th in the world for Surfski and has along side him Tiffany Kruger (Surfski), Michelle Eder (Surfski) and the dynamic youngster Robyn Kime better known for her blitz form at Duzi 2007.

The Moutainbiking Squad has made a name for itself in the past few months and seem to be a force to be reckoned with. We have the countries current Cross Country Champs in Amy Jane Mundy (Elite Ladies) , Timothy Stark (Junior Men) Mike Cheeseman (Vet Men) along with the Second Placed U23 Male and Elite Lady. Through Unity they lead the way and do justice to the Jeep moto of Live without Limits by getting dirty and pushing themselves to the limit weekend after weekend.

Lastly we have the Extreme Sportsman these participate in anything from Kayaking, Kite Boarding, Channel Swimming and the likes.

The Brand Ambassadors are the foundation of Team Jeep – where it all started and with their never failing commitment to the brand they cross over to any discipline be it running, riding, swimming, paddling they do it all keeping our flag flying high.
